
When a subpixel is fixed in an unchanging state, the visible result is a tiny black, white, or colored spot that displays on the screen.
This allows you to scan the rest of the screen and return to that area / check if the screen is clean. Each pixel is made up of a red, green, and blue subpixel.
Use the key to toggle the Marker at any suspicious point on the screen. Every time you choose a new color, scan your screen carefully for defects (Black dots will be dead pixels on any color screen). Use the left mouse button to cycle through the basic application colors of Black (Check for stuck pixels), Blue (Check for dead blue pixels), Red (Check for dead red pixels), Green (Check for dead green pixels) and White (Check for group of dead pixels). Use the right mouse button to turn the main menu on and off, so you can see the entire screen without interference. Make sure the screen resolution is appropriate for your monitor, for example, if your monitor is 1680x1050, make sure the resolution for that monitor is set at 1680x1050.
